Sofresh is currently seeking a Mobile Developer to join our young and dynamic talented team. Working side-by-side with both visual and interface designers, in this role, you will be responsible for contributing both to product design and development execution of innovative mobile applications.
Education/Experience
- 2 years experience of designing and developing high quality applications on iPhone.
- Experience using native frameworks as well as Appcelerator or Phone Gap is also highly preferable
- 2 year college degree or equivalent work experience
Knowledge/Technical Skills
- Knowledge of web development, using HTML/XHTML, CSS, DOM scripting (JavaScript)
- Strong objective-C skills and development experience using the Xcode IDE, iOS SDK and Cocoa frameworks
- Good knowledge of the rules surrounding the iPhone and iPad App approval process
- Knowledge of the software development cycle: product specification, design, implementation, QA, release, and maintenance
- Experience with Ajax, XML, and at least one common web application scripting language (PHP, ASP.Net, JSP, etc)
- Would be ideal to have programming skills: Java (Android SDK a plus)
- Ability to develop against a variety of web architectures and services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, etc.)
- Knowledge of a scripting language a plus (Ruby, Perl, Python, BASH, etc.)
- Experience in developing consumer facing mobile applications
- Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges
- Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task
- Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient
